SETTLED FOOTINGS

This sequence shows an expensive exterior wall that began tilting as it settled over time. We straightened the wall by installing a spread-footing then lifting the low side back to proper height, restoring it to its original position and preserving the home owners investment. We can lift many types of footings using this technique.

The footing under this foundation wall settled, causing the stair-stepped crackin the picture on the left. After installing a spread-footing and lifting the footing to original height, the cracks closed completely. This foundation is once again structurally sound.
